Harrison Spinks clinched Bed Manufacturer of the Year for the second consecutive year, once again delivering the strongest entry across all criteria, with its move to transfer 51% ownership of the company to an Employee Ownership Trust being a true standout. Judges praised the company for showing “relentless progress and great performance on not just one or two but all aspects of this year’s judging criteria.”

Component Product of the Year

John Cotton Nonwovens – Platinum Q polyester layer

John Cotton Nonwovens won this year’s Component Product of the Year award for its Platinum Q, which incorporates its successful Platinum 3D polyester layer into a sumptuous yet resilient quiltable top layer. “It’s difficult to deliver that level of feel and resilience with a polyester,” said the judges. Platinum Q also scored highly across all criteria from innovation and eco-design credentials to value for money, commerciality and marketing support.
